On Wednesday morning, dozens of settlers stormed the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, through the Mughariba Gate, under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation police.

A reporter reported Jerusalem News Agency (61) settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque since the morning, carried out provocative tours of its courtyards, received explanations about the alleged “temple,” and performed Talmudic rituals.

Palestinian calls for mobilization and banding at Al-Aqsa Mosque continue during the coming period, coinciding with the “Temple Groups” mobilizing their supporters for central raids on Al-Aqsa during the Jewish Festival of Lights, “Hanukkah.”

The Feast of Lights, “Hanukkah,” begins on December 18 and continues for 8 days, during which the “Temple Groups” seek to light the menorah and perform the rituals of the holiday inside the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Every day except Friday and Saturday, Al-Aqsa is subjected to a series of settlers’ incursions, as part of the occupation’s attempts to divide it in time and space.
