Today, Monday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the young man, the Jerusalemite activist, and the stationer at Al-Aqsa Mosque, Ahmed Rukn, after storming his home in Silwan this morning.
The occupation forces stormed Rukn's house in the Ras al-Amud neighborhood, northeast of the town of Silwan in central Jerusalem, caused destruction and beat him before arresting him.
The occupation forces not only attacked Ahmed Rukn, but also assaulted his mother and younger brother. His mother confirmed that her son had been transferred to the hospital, after he was severely beaten during his arrest from his home in the Ras al-Amud neighborhood at dawn today.
She added that 10 members of the occupation forces severely beat her son until his blood flowed and filled the furniture of the house and the floor. She also saw him with his eyes swollen and some of his teeth broken, confirming that the forces assaulted her by beating her as well.
A hearing was held for Ahmed Rukn in the Occupation Court in Jerusalem this evening, but without the presence of the person who was being treated for his injury in the hospital, and his detention was extended for 5 days.
