An Israeli female soldier was injured today, Tuesday, in a stabbing attack at the Tunnels military checkpoint south of occupied Jerusalem.

Hebrew media reported that a female soldier was moderately injured after being stabbed by a Palestinian youth after he was stopped for inspection at the Tunnels Checkpoint south of Jerusalem.

The occupation forces opened fire at the perpetrator of the operation, which led to his immediate death.

For its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said, on Tuesday afternoon, that the General Authority for Civil Affairs informed the Ministry of Health of the martyrdom of the young man, Muhammad Rizq Hamash, by the occupation’s bullets.

The martyr “Hamash” hails from the Deheishe refugee camp, southeast of Bethlehem. He is a freed prisoner, 30 years old, and the father of a two-year-old child.
