A 20-year-old Israeli female soldier was injured on Tuesday in a run-over attack carried out by a Palestinian, north of Jerusalem.

Israeli Channel 12 reported that a female soldier in the occupation army was injured, with injuries ranging from moderate to serious, in a run-over attack carried out by a Palestinian near the “Kochav Yaakov” settlement, north of Jerusalem.

Israeli media reported that the perpetrator of the ramming attack is still alive, but did not mention any other details about his health condition or identity.

In light of the increasing pace of Israeli attacks against Palestinians, popular and armed resistance operations in the West Bank and Jerusalem have witnessed a noticeable escalation since the beginning of this year, and have varied between shooting and throwing explosive devices, running over and stabbing operations, and direct confrontations with the occupation, which have led in total to the killing of 31 Israelis.
