Yesterday, Tuesday, the Library of the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque launched its summer camp for children as part of its series of activities inside the mosque’s courtyards and chapels.

Nearly 500 boys and girls from the city of Jerusalem, between the ages of 5-16 years, participated in the “Zidni Alma” camp.

The Al-Aqsa Mosque Library takes the women’s prayer hall located between the Al-Qibli prayer hall and the Islamic Museum as its center, while its activities are distributed among all Al-Aqsa prayer halls and squares.

The library’s activities are varied for different age groups of both genders, and include various sports, cultural, artistic and social activities. The other section of the library is located inside the old Al-Aqsa Mosque and is known as the “Al-Khatniyya Library.” The library includes, in its two sections, more than 100,000 books in various cultural and scientific fields and approximately 4,000 manuscripts.
