Researchers in Jerusalem affairs have confirmed that the occupation seeks to impose a new reality in the city of Jerusalem, through systematic policies, and through attempts to ethnically cleanse the Palestinians in the city.

Rasem Obeidat, a researcher in Jerusalem affairs, said that the occupation seeks to control the Wadi Al-Rababa neighborhood and ethnically cleanse its citizens.

He stated that the occupation is attacking the citizens in the Wadi Al-Rababa neighborhood and restricting them, with the aim of displacing them from the land, and is seeking to isolate the neighborhoods of the town of Silwan and the Wadi Al-Rababa neighborhood, with the aim of Judaizing them and establishing Zionist settlement projects.

He stressed that the occupation is gradually in the process of controlling the lands of the Wadi Al-Rababa neighborhood in Jerusalem, which is considered a strategic area in the city.

In turn, the head of the Jerusalemite Anti-Judaization Committee, Nasser al-Hadmi, said that the occupation’s policy of deporting influential Jerusalemite figures is a new, old policy, indicating that it seeks to break the privacy of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

He pointed out that the occupation aims to break the resolve and will of the Jerusalemite figures in the city of Jerusalem, but it failed to do so, as it will not be able to intimidate the Jerusalemites by removing influential figures from the city of Jerusalem.

He explained that the influential figures in Jerusalem have a strong will and determination, and are steadfast in the face of the Zionist occupation.
