Today, Tuesday, dozens of settlers attacked the people of Wadi Hilweh in the town of Silwan, south of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and seized the land of Al-Hamra in the Al-Ain region, under the protection of occupation soldiers.

Local sources reported that dozens of settlers stormed the town of Silwan under the protection of the occupation forces, and seized the Hamra land in the Al-Ain area, which has an area of about 5 dunams.

The land has belonged to the Samreen family for more than seventy years, and is located in an important location in the town, which is threatened by Judaization.

The occupation forces and settlers attacked the residents while they were trying to defend their land, and five young men from the Samreen family were arrested.

Meanwhile, the young man, Fares Samreen, fainted after being assaulted and besieged by the occupation forces.

After seizing the land, the settlers fenced it, built rooms inside it, and prevented citizens from approaching it.

The occupation soldiers and settlers also set up surveillance cameras at the entrance to the land they seized in the Wadi Hilweh neighborhood.

Recent years have witnessed intense Judaization operations in the area northwest of the town of Silwan, and during the Judaization projects a climbing wall and a park were built near the Al-Thawri neighborhood.

It is noteworthy that the occupation authorities are continuing their Judaization plans in the occupied city of Jerusalem, coinciding with the increase in the frequency of repeated settlers’ incursions into the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, with the protection of the occupation army.
