On Thursday morning, a group of settlers carried out a new round of incursions into the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, amid Jerusalemite warnings of a severe danger to the mosque.
The settlers stormed Al-Aqsa courtyards under heavy protection from the occupation forces, who kept the Palestinian worshipers and stationed people away from the path of the storm.
The settlers performed Talmudic prayers during their storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, while settlement raids on the mosque are intensified during the period of Jewish holidays, as part of the occupation’s persistent efforts to impose new Judaization facts in occupied Jerusalem.
Jerusalemite authorities confirmed that the epic collective prostration of settlers in Al-Aqsa threatens the mosque and establishes the stage of the alleged Jewish temple, and paves the way for the performance of collective Talmudic rituals, in addition to paving the way for the spatial division of Al-Aqsa.
Meanwhile, Aida Al-Sidawi, stationed at Al-Aqsa Mosque, warned of a severe threat to the mosque, as a result of the occupation’s and settlers’ continued violations against it.
Al-Sidawi stressed the Palestinian adherence and steadfastness to the land and Islamic sanctities, until the end of the Zionist occupation, adding that “Al-Aqsa is in our hearts and we will continue to defend it.”
She continued: “The occupation carried out many violations and aggression against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, during the period of Jewish holidays,” noting that the occupation prevents the Al-Murabitun and worshipers from praying in Al-Aqsa, in addition to its efforts to keep the Al-Murabitun and Jerusalemites away from the mosque.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is exposed to many dangers, as a result of increasing settler incursions during Jewish holidays and the implementation of Talmudic rituals that desecrate its courtyards.
During the past few days, Al-Aqsa Mosque witnessed massive incursions by hundreds of settlers, to celebrate the so-called Hebrew holiday of “Hanukkah.”
Since 2017, the “Temple groups” have been seeking to develop their aggression during this holiday, such that they light the menorah in the Lions’ Gate, and bring the ritual of lighting it inside Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The settlers deliberately dance, sing, and celebrate “Hanukkah” at the gates of Al-Aqsa, such as the gates of Al-Silsilah, Al-Ghawanmeh, and Al-Qattanin.
