Additional exciting details were published by Hebrew media about the Jerusalem operation carried out by the heroic guerrilla Khairy Alqam last night, in which 7 settlers were killed and 12 others were injured.
The Hebrew Channel 12 reported that the perpetrator was able to empty two magazines of bullets in the area of the operation using a semi-automatic pistol, put down the third magazine and withdrew from the scene after shooting at the heads of settlers in a street near a Jewish synagogue in the “Neve Yaakov” neighborhood, north of Jerusalem.
The channel said: The perpetrator continued to fire accurately in the upper areas of the dead for 20 minutes, before withdrawing from the place, collided with an Israeli checkpoint nearby, clashed with them, and was martyred.
The channel quoted one of the police officers who clashed with the attacker as saying, “He started shooting at them and was targeted. The weapon fell from his hand. He got up and tried to grab the weapon while he was wounded before he was targeted by a barrage of bullets and was martyred on the spot.”
A report by the Hebrew newspaper “Maariv” explained that the operation was carried out around the “Nabi Ya’akov” settlement in Jerusalem, and began at 8:14 in the evening, where the perpetrator arrived at the site and began shooting from a short distance at a number of settlers.
The newspaper added that the perpetrator used a car and arrived at the scene of the operation at 8:10 minutes, and the attack began at 8:14 minutes, while the (Zionist) police forces arrived at the place at 8:18 minutes.
The newspaper continued, “A patrol officer and a police volunteer in Jerusalem, who were located hundreds of meters from the scene of the accident, noticed the car that the perpetrator was driving in front of them, and another policeman joined them.”
She added, “The police force chased the perpetrator on foot and on horseback, and after an exchange of gunfire, the perpetrator was wounded and martyred immediately.”
The media showed a white Toyota car that they said the attacker had boarded and tried to withdraw.
