The Prisoners and Freed Prisoners Affairs Authority, through its lawyer Khaled Mahajneh, submitted an urgent petition against the Israeli occupation authorities for closing and obstructing the access of the residents of the Alqam family building, one of whose apartments belongs to the family of the martyr Khairi Alqam.

The Authority indicated in a statement that the occupation forces had completely seized the building and turned it into a military barracks since last Friday.

She added that the occupation forces closed the home of the martyr Khairi Alqam's family at dawn on Sunday with tight iron tools and prevented the martyr's family from entering it, indicating that the closure process was carried out after a decision by the Israeli political level.

Last Friday evening, the martyr Alqam carried out a shooting operation in the “Nabi Yaakov” settlement, north of occupied Jerusalem, which led to the killing of 7 settlers and the injury of others.
