On Tuesday, the Israeli District Court, west of occupied Jerusalem, issued a prison sentence against a young man from the town of Anata, northeast of the city.

The lawyer of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center, Muhammad Mahmoud, stated that the judge of the occupation court sentenced the young man, Ali Omar Ajalin, to actual imprisonment for a period of 8 years, on charges of “attempting to carry out a stabbing attack in the Musrara area of Jerusalem” in December 2021.

On Monday, the Israeli Supreme Court in Jerusalem issued a decision to increase the sentences of six Jerusalemite prisoners from the town of Issawiya, on charges of “involving in resistance activities,” after the occupation prosecution appealed their previous rulings.
