Head of the Jerusalem Committee Against Judaization, Nasser Al-Hidmi, said that the Israeli occupation authorities are escalating their attacks on the city of Jerusalem, its residents, and the Palestinian presence there, through demolition and eviction operations.
Al-Hidmi explained that the escalation of demolition and eviction in Jerusalem comes in continuation and harmony with the occupation government, which is more extremist and fascist than its predecessors.
He pointed out that the occupation authorities want to take revenge on the people of Jerusalem, especially after the two suicide operations that took place in the city.
Al-Hidmi said: “For 75 years, the occupation authorities have been practicing a policy of demolition and displacement under flimsy pretexts within the framework of what they call law enforcement and the demolition of unlicensed homes.”
He stressed that “the people of Jerusalem are facing the racist demolition policies with all strength, steadfastness, patience and unity, and are paying a heavy price to preserve their identity and their sanctities, and God willing, they will be victorious despite all the occupation’s attacks.”
He pointed out that "the occupation government wants to implement what it promised the voters who brought this group of extremists."
He stressed that "the reality of Jerusalem and Palestine will not allow this farce and this fierce attack carried out by the occupation authorities against the city of Jerusalem to continue."
He warned of an impending explosion due to the tension and escalating violations by the occupation in the city, adding: “No one can predict how it will begin or how it will end.”
