Head of the Jerusalem Committee Against Judaization, Nasser Al-Hidmi, said that the occupation’s policies in Jerusalem are punitive and vengeful, and this expresses the pain he suffers as a result of carrying out heroic operations.
Al-Hidmi added that the occupation is continuing its policy of revenge against the people of Jerusalem, and the people of Jerusalem are continuing to resist it.
He stressed that "the youth of Jerusalem are carrying out heroic operations to confirm to the occupation that what it is doing will not intimidate them and they will not accept it."
He explained that the occupation deals with the Palestinian people in a manner that violates human rights and international laws, noting that “the situation in the city of Jerusalem will witness an escalation and an explosion in the face of the occupation in the coming period.”
The Israeli occupation forces continue to impose strict restrictions on citizens in the Shuafat camp, northwest of occupied Jerusalem.
The occupation forces stationed at the Shuafat military checkpoint prevented the residents of the camp and the surrounding areas, especially students, from reaching their workplaces and schools. The occupation soldiers assaulted one of the students at the checkpoint and subjected him to a humiliating search.
Today, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation forces carried out demolition operations in the occupied city of Jerusalem, which included an industrial facility in the town of Shuafat and 7 commercial stores, as part of the escalating displacement policy against the residents of Jerusalem.
The residents and youth of Shuafat camp called for a strike and civil disobedience in the camp, in rejection of the occupation’s attacks and abuse of students and residents at the camp’s checkpoint.
