Jerusalemite sources and specialists in Jerusalem affairs revealed a dangerous development regarding the expected “Israeli” storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque coinciding with the so-called “Jerusalem Unification Day.” 


According to the sources, the “Return to the Temple Mount” organization has submitted an official request to bring the “Flags March” into Al-Aqsa Mosque through the Lions’ Gate, next Thursday, 5/18/2023. 

The sources explained that this request was submitted for the first time in the history of the raids, and these groups aim with this request to impose a set of precedents, most notably storming Al-Aqsa in the evening.

According to Jerusalemite sources, it was mentioned in the request that the number of intruders required for this march is 7,500 extremists, noting that the highest number they had previously achieved did not exceed 2,200 intruders.

In the same context, the occupation authorities launched a deportation campaign from Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Old City, and occupied Jerusalem, in anticipation of what is called the “unification of Jerusalem” day, meaning its complete occupation, which falls next Friday, May 19, 2023, and will be accompanied by a march of Judaizing flags and a major storming of Al-Aqsa. On Thursday 5/18/2023. 

The occupation imposes strict security measures, with the aim of securing the procession of settlement flags, on the Hebrew occasion known as “Unification of Jerusalem” Day.



Through the march, the occupation aims to demonstrate Israeli sovereignty over the occupied city of Jerusalem, and for this purpose it calls in army reserve units, in addition to putting them on immediate alert.
