“For the sacrifice of Al-Aqsa.” With these words, Al-Maqdisi Ibn Al-Isawiya received Qusay Alyan at the beginning of his long journey in the occupation prisons.

The Zionist Occupation Court sentenced Alyan, on Sunday morning, 7/9/2023, to 14 years in prison.

This is not the first time that Qusay has been arrested by the occupation forces, as he had previously been arrested several times.

The occupation forces arrested Alyan on the 12th of 2021, and charged him with “charges” related to resisting the occupation and shooting towards his forces.

Amjad Abu Assab, head of the Jerusalem Prisoners' Families Committee, said in an interview with Bayt Al-Maqdis Agency, that the occupation is delaying providing treatment for Alyan, who suffers from several lung problems.

Abu Assab adds that such rulings are a type of collective punishment against Jerusalemite prisoners and their families, in the context of the occupation’s attempts to introduce feelings of despair and fear into the hearts of Jerusalemites.

But. Does the occupation believe that the policy of arrests and exaggerated sentences, which it has been practicing against Jerusalemites for more than 10 years, has succeeded in suppressing the phenomenon of popular resistance in the occupied city!?
