  1. First: We are still waiting for the position of the judiciary to approve the law or not. Here the real question is: What will the position of the Supreme Court be? Will it acknowledge that this law violates the constitutional foundation of the Israeli regime? Or the Supreme Court may move toward ratification while giving an interpretation of the law that allows this in a narrow manner and allows the court to intervene in a specific area, as it did in the Nationality Law.
  2. The “Israeli” rift is widening. The army is a basic organic compound, rather it is the building or containment device for the melting pot in Israeli society. Despite the many existing Israeli rifts, the army remains the place or device that works on the melting pot of Israeli society towards integration and equality among them in terms of experience and vision.
  3. The reserve soldiers constituted a milestone in their position of rejecting volunteering in the army, and the factor of volunteering harms the army’s readiness, its reputation, and its capabilities at the security level.
  4. In fact, there is a historical battle over the identity of the Israeli political system, over the identity and form of the system, and over the existing ideology that moves policies towards a settlement political project that seeks to stabilize settlement and structural thought based on right-wing religious Zionism.
  5. What is actually happening reflects a clear rift in the deep state, and with reference to those participating in the protest action, we see that it expresses the identity of society, and it may be the ethnic identity that historically attempts at the Israeli level to express the unity of this society, as we see in this aspect the economic and military elites. Who is leading the protest, who represents the founding party of the regime, i.e. the deep state. In contrast to those who stand at the head of the government, they actually carry a Zionist ideology, but they did not have the experience of establishing and building in the system, and they did not form part of the institutions of the deep state. Therefore, it is a real struggle in resolving the battle at the Israeli level internally, but it is also a decision regarding the policies of the occupation towards the Palestinian people and in The West Bank and the plan of annexation, settlement and Judaization.
  6. In light of strengthening the political versus legal status, there will be an absolute effort towards strengthening the status of the settler right and its political project in the plan of annexation and imposing complete Israeli control.
  7. Pointing out that this law also affects our Palestinian people and their rights, even though the Israeli judiciary was only part of a whole system operating against our Palestinian people, the legal procedure remains a way out for dealing with the policies of the occupation.
  8. The Palestinian question remains present in political action, and how can investment be made in light of this deep Israeli rift?
