A group of Zionist settlers stormed, at dawn on Tuesday, a house belonging to the Idris family in the Al-Qarmi neighborhood in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, under the protection of the occupation forces, and seized it.
The people of the Al-Qarmi neighborhood were surprised by the sounds of the settlers as they stormed the house, guarded by the occupation forces. They changed the doors and installed iron protections for the windows and the roof of the house.
The people of the neighborhood informed the Idris family that the settlers had stormed their house, so they rushed to the place, and arguments and verbal altercations took place between them and the settlers.
The owner of the house, Muhammad Saleh Muhammad Idris, confirmed that the house has belonged to the family since 1979, and that he has the documents proving ownership of the house in which his mother and sister currently live.
According to what Muhammad reported, the settlers took advantage of his mother’s hospitalization for about 10 days, and stormed the house.
Idris indicated that he had contacted the occupation police, who came to the place and removed the settlers from the house, and asked the family to go to the occupation police headquarters and the court to file a complaint to prove ownership of the house.
