Despite the bad weather conditions, the Israeli occupation authorities forced a Jerusalemite citizen to demolish his son's house in the town of Jabal al-Mukaber, south of Jerusalem.

Jerusalemite Azmi Sarri began demolishing his son’s house late Tuesday evening, applying the “self-demolition” policy to avoid paying exorbitant sums to municipal crews if the latter carried out the demolition.

Azmi Sarri told a number of media outlets that he had taken the necessary measures to issue a building permit, but the occupation municipality did not give them additional time and issued a demolition order.

It is worth noting that the demolished house housed Azmi Sari’s son, his wife, and 3 of his children, who were under 18 years old.
