Thousands of Palestinians performed Friday prayers today in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the difficult weather conditions and the occupation’s restrictions and barriers.
The visitors of Al-Aqsa Mosque began arriving from the dawn prayer, responding to the calls for the “Great Dawn” launched by popular groups, and many of them continued to stay in the mosque until the time of Friday prayer.
13,000 Palestinians were able to reach the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, while those who were prevented by the occupation from reaching the mosque prayed on Friday in the roads of Bab al-Amud and Wadi al-Joz amid an intense presence of the occupation police.
It is worth noting that the occupation has imposed a siege on Al-Aqsa Mosque since 10/7/2023, which led to a decrease in the number of Friday worshipers from 50,000 to about 4,000, leading to continued calls to lift the siege on the mosque.
