Yesterday evening, Friday, the occupation authorities forced Jerusalemite Sami Al-Qaq to demolish part of his house in the Ain Al-Loza neighborhood in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, on the grounds of building without a permit.
The occupation forces demolished two apartments belonging to Al-Qaq and his brother, after 5 years of work to build them, and kept one room.
Al-Maqdisi Al-Qaq was forced to self-demolish the room after submitting building permit applications that were rejected by the occupation authorities, in addition to imposing hundreds of violations against them.
The occupation is escalating its policy of demolishing the homes of Jerusalemites under the pretext of not having a license in its efforts to Judaize the city, and is forcing them to self-demolish to avoid heavy fines for the costs of demolishing the occupation authorities.
