The Mufti of Palestine and Jerusalem, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, said that the Israeli occupation is taking security measures that prevent Muslims from reaching the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, especially on Fridays of every week.
In a press statement, Sheikh Hussein called for people to travel to Al-Aqsa Mosque and overcome the occupation’s barriers and obstacles placed on the road to Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa.
Sheikh Muhammad Hussein said: “Many of the Palestinian people pray near the military barriers set up by the occupation forces to prevent worshippers from reaching Al-Aqsa Mosque.”
Hussein added: “In any case, these circumstances and barriers will not change the determination and insistence of the Palestinians to reach the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the month of Ramadan and throughout the year.”
