Tens of thousands of Palestinians performed evening and Tarawih prayers on Wednesday evening in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, on the third day of the month of Ramadan.
Despite the obstacles imposed by the occupation forces on Palestinian access to the city of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, 40,000 worshipers were able to reach Al-Aqsa Mosque.
In the same context, a number of women and men who were deported from Al-Aqsa Mosque performed the evening and Tarawih prayers on the Mujahideen Road located between Babi Hatta and Al-Asbat.
The occupation forces arrested a number of young men on Al-Wad Street in the Old City of Jerusalem, and physically searched some of them after checking their identities.
The occupation forces were stationed densely at the Mughrabi Gate in Al-Aqsa Mosque and the roof of the Dome of the Rock, to restrict the worshipers during their performance of the evening and Tarawih prayers.
On the other hand, the occupation forces mounted the wall of the Old City of occupied Jerusalem and photographed the worshipers from Damascus Gate after they left Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed the evening and Tarawih prayers.
