Today, 30,000 worshipers performed Friday prayers in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, amid the occupation’s continued imposition of its siege on the mosque and obstructing worshipers’ access to it.
The occupation forces set up barriers, harassed the people, and prevented a number of young men from reaching Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The occupation forces deployed around the Dome of the Rock courtyard in conjunction with Friday prayers.
The preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, called for protecting the mosque and defending it against the settlers’ plans and their continuing attacks against it.
Al-Aqsa's preacher warned of the consequences of settlers' assaults and assaults on Islamic holy sites in the occupied city of Jerusalem, stressing that Muslims' failure tempts settlers to commit more attacks against Al-Aqsa.
He stressed that the Palestinian people will not allow the occupation and settler groups to carry out their plans in Al-Aqsa, warning that the mosque is subjected to continuous attacks from an occupation that does not respect religions.
He praised the steadfastness of our people stationed in Al-Aqsa, stressing that they “will not give up any atom of their own, and will continue to adhere to it.”
