Hundreds of extremist settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday morning, protected by the Israeli occupation police, amid strict security measures.

The settlers’ storming of Al-Aqsa coincided with the occupation imposing strict measures on the mosque’s gates and setting up military checkpoints on the roads surrounding it.
The settlers’ incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque today come in celebration of what is known as Jerusalem Unification Day, which coincides with the anniversary of the occupation of the eastern part of Jerusalem in 1967.
