Today, Wednesday, the Public Prosecution submitted to the Occupation Magistrate Court in Jerusalem an “indictment” against the preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Ikrimah Sabri. 

The list of “indictments” presented by the occupation included “the charge of incitement to terrorism” due to his speech at the funeral home of the martyr Uday Al-Tamimi and the martyrs of the Jenin camp during the year 2022.

According to what was reported by Sheikh Ikrima Sabri’s lawyer, Khaled Zabarqa, the “indictment” and the procedures he took are devoid of legal considerations, while political considerations are present, as the religious Zionist right in power seeks to exploit the occupation’s legal apparatus in order to prosecute and criminalize it. Everyone who contributes to the defense of Al-Aqsa Mosque. 



Khaled Zabarqa concluded his speech by saying: “His Eminence Sheikh Ikrimah Sabri is the voice of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, and he shouts out the issue and concern of Jerusalem throughout the world, and they want to silence this voice.”
