Today, Thursday, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Occupation Security Minister, Itamar Ben Gvir, under the protection of the occupation police, and considered it an unacceptable and condemnable step that reflects the occupation government’s continuation of its unilateral measures in Al-Aqsa.

Jordanian Foreign Ministry spokesman Sufyan al-Qudah said that Ben Ghafir’s storming of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque represents a provocative step and a clear violation of international law and the status quo in Jerusalem.

He called on the judges to take a clear international position condemning the occupation’s violations in Jerusalem and providing protection for the Palestinian people in light of the continued aggressive occupation war on the Gaza Strip.

The judges confirmed that the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, with its entire area of 144 dunams, is a pure place of worship for Muslims, and that the Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem, affiliated with the Jordanian Ministry of Endowments, has exclusive jurisdiction to manage the affairs of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and that the occupation does not have any right or sovereignty over Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem.
