The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that it is continuing, in partnership with “our brothers in Jordan, an international political, diplomatic and legal movement to expose the violations of the Israeli occupation against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

The Foreign Ministry indicated in a statement issued today, Tuesday, that it is continuing to mobilize the broadest international pressure front to protect Jerusalem and its sanctities, especially since these provocative incursions are carried out under the official protection of the occupation police and with the support, backing and sponsorship of the occupation government.

The Foreign Ministry pointed out that the occupation government and its far-right pillars are deliberately changing the historical and legal reality of Al-Aqsa Mosque, as part of the strategy of Judaizing Jerusalem and its Christian and Islamic sanctities, and in a manner that falls within the framework of the war of extermination and displacement against the Palestinian people and giving settlers a free hand to take more illegal unilateral steps to annex the West Bank.

The Foreign Ministry concluded its statement by saying: “We view with great concern the daily escalation in the storming of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque by extremist settlers and the escalation of their performance of more Talmudic rituals and prayers in its courtyards, in an attempt to turn this scene into a tangible and familiar reality due to its recurrence every day, with the aim of accelerating the cycles of its spatial division until the mosque is demolished and the alleged temple is built in its place.”
