Tens of thousands of worshipers performed Friday prayers at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in the city of Jerusalem, despite the restrictions and military measures imposed by the occupation police at the gates of the mosque and the entrances to the Old City, and the rainy weather conditions.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem said that 35,000 worshipers performed Friday prayers today at Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the occupation’s measures and restrictions on worshipers’ access to the mosque.
The Jerusalem News correspondent reported that the occupation forces prevented dozens of young men from reaching Al-Aqsa Mosque, and assaulted and pushed them at Bab Al-Asbat.
The courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque witnessed an intense deployment of the occupation police and special forces during the Friday sermon and prayer.
