Large numbers of Palestinians flocked to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque today, Monday, to commemorate the Isra and Mi'raj, despite the occupation's restrictions and checkpoints at the gates of the mosque and around the Old City.

The occupation forces restricted the residents coming to Al-Aqsa Mosque through Bab Al-Qattanin, and arrested a number of young men in the Old City and Bab Al-Amoud area in Jerusalem, searched the residents coming to Al-Aqsa Mosque, and prevented a number of ambulance crews from entering Al-Aqsa.

Settlers performed Torah prayers at Bab al-Hadid, one of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, while the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the town of Sur Baher in Jerusalem.
