On Thursday morning, dozens of extremist settlers stormed the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, through the Mughariba Gate, under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation forces, amid calls to celebrate the Great Dawn tomorrow, Friday, in the mosque.
The Islamic Endowments Department in occupied Jerusalem reported that dozens of settlers had stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque since the morning, carried out provocative tours of its courtyards, received explanations about the alleged “temple,” and performed Talmudic rituals.
The occupation police continued to restrict the entry of worshipers arriving from Jerusalem and the occupied interior of the mosque, checked their identities, and detained some of them at its gates.
This morning, the occupation forces prevented Al-Aqsa guards from intercepting tourists performing Talmudic prayers inside the Blessed Mosque.
Jerusalemite calls were launched for the necessity of mobilizing and gathering at Al-Aqsa Mosque tomorrow, Friday, and participating in the Great Dawn campaign.
The calls stressed the importance of participating in the Great Dawn in Al-Aqsa, to confront the settlers’ incursions and the occupation’s plans that seek to Judaize Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa.
“The Great Dawn” launched for the first time from the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of Hebron in November 2020. To confront the dangers facing the mosque, the repeated raids of the occupation forces and herds of settlers, attempts to Judaize it, and perform Talmudic rituals there, and then moved to Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Every day, except Friday and Saturday, Al-Aqsa is subjected to a series of raids by settlers, in the morning and evening periods, as part of the occupation’s attempts to impose a temporal and spatial division plan on the mosque.
