On Tuesday morning, dozens of extremist settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, through the Mughariba Gate, under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation police.

Since the morning, the occupation police have deployed their special units in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa, and at its gates, to provide protection against settler incursions, amid severe restrictions imposed on Palestinians entering the mosque.

The Islamic Endowments Department in occupied Jerusalem reported that dozens of extremists stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque since the morning, carried out provocative tours in its courtyards, and performed Talmudic rituals in the eastern area of the mosque.

The occupation police imposed restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshipers coming from Jerusalem and the occupied interior of the mosque, checked their personal identities, and detained some of them at its external gates.
