Yesterday, Wednesday, Burj Al-Luqluq Community Association implemented its eighth open recreational day for the Play and Learn project, which targeted approximately 700 male and female children from various towns of Jerusalem.
The open day included the participation of 9 Jerusalemite clubs, namely “Al-Issawiya Club, Silwan Club, Al-Ansar Club, Al-Bustan Association - Silwan, Jabal Al-Mukaber Club, Al-Mukaber School, Al-Asimah Club, Delasal Al-Quds Club, and Burj Al-Luqluq Association), with the distinguished participation of the Burj Al-Luqluq basketball team on chairs.” People of determination.
The open day included several activities, the largest of which was sports, a football league, and another for girls’ basketball, in addition to artistic workshops and legal support workshops, in addition to dabke performances by the Zahrat Burj al-Luqluq dabke troupe.
Burj Al-Luqluq Association launched episodes of the children’s cartoon series Farah’s Life in Jerusalem, which consists of 30 episodes full of information, knowledge and fun, in addition to introducing children’s rights in the city of Jerusalem through the brothers Farah and Adam.
The day ended with honoring the teams and clubs participating in the league, and distributing cups and medals.
