Yesterday, Wednesday, the occupation courts in the city of Jerusalem issued decisions to extend the detention of 11 young Jerusalemites who were recently arrested.

The occupation magistrate court extended the detention of the two boys, Qassam Al-Awar and Ibrahim Farroukh, until next Sunday, after they were arrested from their homes in Silwan at dawn yesterday.

The same court also extended the detention of the two young men, Ahmed Al-Ghoul and Abdullah Al-Zaghal, from Silwan, until 7/20/2022.

In the Central Occupation Court, decisions were issued to extend the detention of the Jerusalemite prisoner Muhammad Ziyad Qanbar until 7/18/2022, and the young man Musa Najdi until 7/20/2022.

The detention of the young man from Jerusalem, Mahmoud Al-Rishq, was extended until the end of the legal procedures against him, which may last a full year.

While the trial session of the Jerusalemites Ismail Muhaisen, Khaled Muhaisen, Qasim Derbas, Abdullah Abu Riyala, Muhammad Mustafa, and Muhammad al-Razem was postponed until 9/20/2022, and the prisoner Ahmed Abd Attiya’s trial was postponed until 9/21/2022. They are all from the village of Al-Issawiya.

In addition to extending the arrests, the occupation intelligence summoned the liberated prisoner of Jerusalem, Fouad Ahmed Al-Qaq, for investigation tomorrow. He was released two weeks ago after a detention that lasted 4 and a half years.

The occupation also sentenced Jerusalemite Firas Jaber to 38 months in prison, in addition to paying a fine of 10,000 shekels.

Today, the occupation forces arrested the liberated Jerusalemite prisoner, Obaida Al-Taweel, and another young man after abusing him in the town of Silwan, south of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Meanwhile, Al-Maqdisi Mansour Mahmoud from the town of Al-Issawiya was released on the condition that he be kept away from Damascus Gate for 15 days.
