On Wednesday evening, the occupation censors allowed additional details to be revealed about the shooting operation at the Shuafat checkpoint, which was carried out by the martyr Uday Al-Tamimi last month and led to the death of an Israeli female soldier and the wounding of two others.

According to the details, the martyr Al-Tamimi bought a pistol with his comrade Marwan Al-Tamimi worth 32 thousand shekels, in addition to 71 9 mm bullets days before the operation was carried out. His comrade Marwan also tried to buy another pistol to participate in carrying out the operation, but the martyr Uday refused his request, because he He cannot wait and will carry out the operation quickly.

Regarding the goal of the operation, investigations with Marwan revealed that the goal was to cross the Shuafat checkpoint and go to carry out a shooting attack against soldiers in the city of Modiin, northwest of Jerusalem, where he headed with Marwan and two of his companions in a white Toyota Corolla vehicle towards the checkpoint to head. To Modi'in.

According to investigations, the vehicle carrying the martyr Uday stopped for a routine inspection at the checkpoint, and the goal was to cross the checkpoint toward “Modi’in.” However, Uday suddenly opened the vehicle’s door, drew his gun, approached the soldiers, and fired several shots at them, as a result of which the female soldier, “Noa Lazer,” was killed and one of the guards was wounded. He was shot in the head and has been in a coma ever since.

Later, the martyr Uday withdrew from the place, as did the vehicle carrying his companions, after the occupation failed to target them. The details also showed that the martyr Uday carried out another shooting operation on the 20th of last October, using the same pistol, at the entrance to the “Maale Adumim” settlement.
