Tens of thousands of Palestinians performed Friday prayers today in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and prayers in absentia for the souls of the martyrs of the Jabalia fire.
Jerusalemite sources said that large numbers of residents of Jerusalem and the occupied interior, and those who were able to reach the mosque from the West Bank, performed prayers in its courtyards and covered chapels.
The occupation forces restricted citizens who tried to reach Al-Aqsa, at a time when settlers performed Talmudic rituals in front of the Lions’ Gate, one of the doors of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Friday sermon
During the Friday sermon, the preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Muhammad Salim, called on the Palestinians, especially Jerusalemites, to be prepared with more ties in Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Sheikh Salim said: “Roll up the sleeves of the true and sincere bond in Al-Aqsa, and be patient with its consequences of captivity, wounds, and all harm and damage, because they are among the good tidings that have a great reward.”
Sheikh Salim stressed that every occupation of Al-Aqsa Mosque is temporary and fleeting, heralding the promise of God and victory with unity and steadfastness.
He added: “On the soil of Jerusalem there will be victory, generation after generation, and sadness will be replaced by joy, and on the soil of Jerusalem there will be the Caliph.”
Al-Aqsa’s preacher said that a truthful marabout is one who is satisfied with God’s decree, destiny, and giving, so that we gain the honor of liberating Al-Aqsa.
He also called for stopping real estate in Jerusalem because it is part of the jurisprudence of Rabat, and it is forbidden to leak it to the occupiers, warning against distorted school curricula that falsify history and the right to land.
