Today, dozens of residents of the town of Silwan in occupied Jerusalem performed the Friday noon prayer in front of the Imam Al-Ghazali Mosque on the lands of the Wadi Al-Rababa neighborhood in the town of Silwan, in protest against the occupation and its settlers planting fake graves on their lands.

After noon prayers today, the participants organized a protest in front of the fake cemetery on the lands of the Wadi Al-Rababa neighborhood against the practices of the occupation and its settlers and their attempt to seize the lands and turn them into fake cemeteries.

The participants raised a huge banner that read, “We reject the placement of a gate closing the road to the Wadi Al-Rababa neighborhood in front of the elderly, women, children, and residents of the neighborhood,” and “We reject the false graves.”

The Friday sermon was delivered by the head of the Wadi Al-Rababa neighborhood committee in the town of Silwan, Abdul Karim Abu Sneina.
