The occupation prison administration transferred Jerusalemite prisoner Fadwa Hamada to solitary confinement cells in Damoun prison.
The Prisoners' Information Office explained that the occupation prison administration transferred prisoner Hamada to isolation cells on the grounds of throwing water at one of the prison guards.
Jerusalemite prisoner Fadwa Hamada suffers from poor detention conditions in Damoun Prison, while she is next to criminal prisoners who deliberately knock on the walls and scream throughout the night to deprive her of sleep and rest.
Prisoner Hamada faces a policy of medical negligence and procrastination in treatment, which has caused exacerbation of the pain in her foot, which she suffered from a fracture several months ago, and complications that have led to severe infections and swelling at the site of the operation that was performed on the same foot.
Although Hamada submitted several requests to be treated and presented to specialized doctors, the Damoun prison administration has so far refused to respond to her demands and is practicing medical negligence against her.
The Jerusalemite prisoner, Fadwa Hamada, is 36 years old. She is a mother of five children from the town of Sur Baher, south of the occupied city of Jerusalem. She was arrested on August 12, 2017.
The occupation accused her of attempting to carry out a stabbing attack in the Bab al-Amoud area, beginning a series of hearings in the occupation courts, which finally sentenced her to ten years in prison and a fine of 30,000 shekels.
Hamada stayed in solitary confinement cells for about three and a half months last year, because she confronted an Israeli prison guard in “Damoun” who tried to insult one of her fellow prisoners.
