The Israeli occupation's General Security Service (Shin Bet) continues its attempts to reach the perpetrators of the double bombing that occurred in the city of Jerusalem last Wednesday, and these efforts are currently concentrated at the intelligence level, according to the Hebrew website Ynet, today, Sunday.

According to the Hebrew report, the occupation forces raised the state of alert to a level before maximum, not ruling out the possibility that the perpetrators of the bombing would attempt to carry out another operation, as the perpetrator of the shooting attack at the Shuafat camp checkpoint, the martyr Uday al-Tamimi, did when he managed to escape from the site of the operation and appeared at the scene. Another place in the occupied Jerusalem area, 12 days later, he opened fire on guards in the Ma'ale Adumim settlement and clashed with them, which led to his martyrdom.

The occupation forces collected images from dozens of cameras from the areas surrounding the explosion sites in an attempt to monitor the perpetrators. The Shin Bet also opened a command room to hunt down the perpetrators, and it is expected that they will make a mistake that will enable them to be exposed.

The occupation security services suspect that the perpetrators of the two bombings worked without external direction or the direction of a Palestinian faction, but they had planned the operation for a long time, and they knew the area in which the operation was carried out well, and that they had made sure in advance that the bus station where the bombing was carried out would be crowded, and as a result They remotely detonated the explosive device at the first location.

The occupation forces' working hypothesis is that the perpetrators are residents of occupied Jerusalem, without ruling out the possibility of them fleeing to the West Bank.

Ynet added that it is estimated that the explosive device was relatively small, and contained a quantity of nails, which caused the injury of about twenty people, in addition to the killing of two Israelis. The explosive device that exploded at the second site, a short time later, was similar to the first.
