The preacher of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Ikrima Sabri, said that the statements of the leader of the extremist “Jewish Power” party, Itamar Ben Gvir, regarding the settlers’ prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque, are racist and unacceptable, noting that he will not rely on them in anything.

Sabri held the occupation government fully responsible for Ben Gvir’s threats, stressing that the Palestinian people will not allow him or anyone else to touch the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

He pointed out that the seriousness of Ben Gvir's threats increases the general tension in Al-Aqsa and the clash with Muslim worshipers in the mosque.

He called on the people of Jerusalem to be vigilant and pay attention to the settlers' provocative attempts, stressing that they should not be allowed to attack Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The extremist Ben Gvir, who is appointed as the Ministry of Internal Security in the occupation, pledged to work to change the current situation regarding settlers’ prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque, strengthening settlement outposts in the West Bank, and changing the open-fire instructions regarding the Palestinians.
