The Prisoner's Club said that a further deterioration occurred in the health condition of the prisoner, Commander Nasser Abu Hamid, who suffers from cancer and is in a critical health condition, after recent medical examinations showed that his body was filled with water and reached the lungs, in addition to the fact that he has recently been suffering from extreme difficulty in breathing. Speech, the period that he can remain without the help of an oxygen tube does not exceed two minutes due to the extreme difficulty in breathing, which worsened with the arrival of water into the lungs.

The Prisoner Club explained that the continuous deterioration in his health condition is accelerating significantly compared to the previous period, and today he lives only on painkillers and pain relievers, after the doctors decided to stop chemotherapy. 

It is noteworthy that the prisoner Abu Hamid was and continues to be subjected to the crime of medical negligence (slow killing) over the years of his detention, and his health condition began to deteriorate clearly in August of last year, and at that time it was late revealed that he had lung cancer as a result of the prison administration’s procrastination in... Conducting the necessary medical examinations for him, until he reached the extremely critical health stage he is in today. 

It is noteworthy that the prisoner Abu Hamid (50 years old), who has been sentenced to seven life imprisonments and (50) years, is one of more than 600 sick prisoners in the occupation prisons, including (24) prisoners suffering from cancer and tumors to varying degrees. They face the crime of medical negligence (slow homicide), in addition to the harsh detention conditions.

It is worth noting that all legal and political efforts failed to release him despite his critical health condition, despite the endless demands made by the family and which continue to this day.
