This evening, Wednesday, clashes erupted with the occupation forces in the towns of At-Tur and Silwan, during which two young men were arrested and tear gas bombs were fired at citizens.

In the town of At-Tur, clashes erupted between young men and the occupation forces near Al-Makassed Charitable Hospital.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the town of At-Tur and arrested the two young men, Ali Arabi and Adam Sami Abu Al-Hawa, from their families’ homes.

Eyewitnesses said that one of the two arrested young men was injured by metal bullets fired by the occupation soldiers.

In Silwan, local sources reported that clashes erupted in the Ain Al-Lawza neighborhood, during which the occupation soldiers fired tear gas bombs intensively at the residents’ homes.

The young men confronted the occupation forces by setting fires and placing barricades on the roads used by the force storming the town.

This comes as tensions escalate in Jerusalem, and calls are being made by Jerusalemites to perform Friday prayers in front of the building threatened with demolition in the town of Silwan, in rejection of the occupation’s unjust decisions.
