On Sunday morning, dozens of settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, through the Mughariba Gate, under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation police.

The occupation police opened the Mughrabi Gate early in the morning, and deployed its members and special units in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and at its gates, to secure the settlers’ incursions.

The Islamic Endowments Department in occupied Jerusalem stated that dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque since the morning, carried out provocative tours of its courtyards, and performed Talmudic rituals.

The occupation police continued to restrict the entry of worshipers coming from Jerusalem and the occupied interior of Al-Aqsa, checked the identities of some of them, and detained them at its outer doors.

Every day except Friday and Saturday, Al-Aqsa is subjected to a series of raids by settlers, as part of the occupation’s attempts to divide it in time and space, while the pace of raids escalates during Jewish holidays, and includes attacks on worshipers and stationed people and deportations from the mosque.
