Palestinian specialists confirmed that the Israeli occupation is trying to impose new realities in Al-Aqsa Mosque through incursions carried out by settlers, stressing that this requires continuing the bond there.

In turn, the specialist in Jerusalem affairs, Shuaib Abu Sneineh, said that the occupation is trying to impose new realities by making the incursions numerous and not only by Moroccans.

He stated that the occupation wants to reach and tour every spot in Al-Aqsa Mosque, and wants to practice its rituals openly, and for the police to have restrictions lifted and its powers to become greater.

He added: “But as long as the sword is drawn against him and as long as the legitimate bond exists, he will stand in the way of achieving his goals, God Almighty willing.”

He explained that the occupation claims that the city of Jerusalem was empty of sovereignty, and this is a justification for its occupation, according to its claim, and this is not true, as the city existed with its residents, bodies, system, municipality, and all its components, and this is a false claim that is rejected.

He continued: “Our Arab brothers in the countries surrounding us, I tell you that Al-Aqsa Mosque is the deposit of our honorable Messenger. If we consider the Meccan verses that spoke about Jerusalem, it is known among commentators that they relate to faith, and this indicates that Jerusalem is part of our faith, for Jerusalem is not a land of rocks.” And dirt, but it is part of our religion.”

He called on the Arab peoples to take to the streets and participate in vigils and donations in order to dissuade the enemy from his dark ideas that he wants to implement.

Abu Sneineh added: “Our battle is a battle of awareness. Every person can change ignorance, spread knowledge, and motivate the protection of Al-Aqsa Mosque so that it is full of Arabism and Islam.”

For his part, Jerusalemite activist Saleh Diab said that the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque is witnessing a very dangerous phase, as the occupation is exploiting Zionist holidays to storm its courtyards.

He stressed that the number of intruders into the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque is increasing day after day, and that the occupation is trying to impose a new reality on it.
