On Monday morning, occupation intelligence stormed the home of Jerusalem Governor Adnan Ghaith in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Jerusalem Governorate explained that intelligence stormed Governor Ghaith’s house and handed him “a decision to renew his ban on entering the West Bank.”

Since last August, the Governor of Jerusalem has been under house arrest in his home in Silwan, after an indictment was filed against him. During the last period, forces and intelligence forces stormed the place several times.

The occupation authorities have been pursuing Governor Ghaith since he assumed office in 2018, with repeated arrests, preventing him from entering the West Bank, preventing him from traveling, restricting his residence in the town of Silwan, preventing him from participating in events and activities in Jerusalem, and leading to complete house arrest in his home.
