The head of the Islamic Movement in the occupied Palestinian territories, Sheikh Raed Salah, said, “What we see today of incursions and attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque are attempts to impose and create a religious life with Talmudic sovereignty in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on a daily basis.”

He explained that the occupation aims to impose a Talmudic life through repeated incursions, and demands that the area be opened every day of the week, including Friday, and the month of Ramadan, so that these incursions can continue.

He stressed that “performing the epic prostration in Al-Aqsa is the introduction of a new pattern of incursions, such as moving from the silent prayer scene that was in the past month of Ramadan, to the public proclamation of clear prayers in terms of the movements and Talmudic rituals that accompany the prayers.”

The Sheikh of Al-Aqsa stressed that “all these efforts will end in failure, and Al-Aqsa Mosque will remain in its place, atmosphere, life, and sovereignty, and will remain a purely Islamic, Arab, and Palestinian right.”

He pointed out that attempts to storm the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque are not new, but rather began since the first days of the occupation of Al-Aqsa Mosque in 1967, adding that “each stage carries a goal through which the occupation ensures that it imposes something new on the list of its ambitions in the mosque.”
