On Wednesday morning, large forces from the occupation army stormed the home of the family of the martyr Uday Al-Tamimi, located on the sixth floor of a residential building in the Al-Salam suburb/Shufat camp.
According to the Hebrew media, approximately 300 Israeli soldiers stormed the home of the martyr Uday Tamimi, the perpetrator of the “Maale Adumim” operation that took place last December.
As the storming of the building began, the father of the martyr Al-Tamimi said, “Large forces stormed the family home and will demolish the house, which is located on the sixth floor of a residential building.”
Eyewitnesses from the vicinity of Al-Tamimi’s house stated that the forces were carrying out the demolition operation using hand tools and equipment to demolish the interior walls of the house.
Video clips circulating on social media showed large numbers of occupation soldiers on foot storming the Al-Salam suburb, to secure the demolition process.
The young man, Tamimi (22 years old), was martyred on October 19, 2022, by Israeli occupation bullets near the “Maale Adumim” settlement, established on Palestinian lands east of the occupied city of Jerusalem.
On October 8, Al-Tamimi opened fire on the Shuafat military checkpoint. As a result, a female soldier was killed and another soldier was seriously injured, before he withdrew from the scene unharmed.
For 11 days, the Israeli security services were unable to arrest Al-Tamimi, despite launching extensive combing operations inside the Shuafat camp and the neighboring town of Anata, which developed into violent confrontations with the residents, and the arrest of a number of his relatives.
