Two young men were shot, on Wednesday evening, and another was arrested, during confrontations that broke out with the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Silwan, south of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the town of Silwan, which led to the outbreak of confrontations with the young men who came out to confront the intrusion, during which the occupation soldiers fired bullets and tear gas and sound bombs at the young men.

The sources confirmed that two young men were injured by occupation bullets. They were taken to the hospital, where their injuries were described as moderate to serious. A special unit of the occupation police also assaulted and beat a young man - whose identity is not yet known - on Al-Ain Street in the town before arresting him.

The sources indicated that foot forces from the occupation army closed the main street in the town's Bir Ayoub neighborhood, and also raided the Ain al-Loza neighborhood, and the confrontations are still continuing to this moment.
