Tens of thousands of worshipers performed the noon prayer on Friday in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, amid restrictions and restrictions imposed by the occupation forces in the vicinity of the Old City and the mosque.
The occupation forces set up iron barriers in the streets of Jerusalem and the entrances leading to the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque, and obstructed worshipers’ access to it.
The Islamic Endowments Department reported that 70,000 worshipers performed the noon prayer on Friday at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The worshipers performed absentee prayers for the souls of the martyrs, and a vigil was organized in Al-Aqsa Mosque after the noon prayer today, in which the participants raised Palestinian flags and chanted slogans in support of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, including “From Al-Aqsa, salutes to Jenin of pride” and “Freedom, freedom to Jenin of pride.”
The preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Muhammad Sarandah, said in the Friday sermon, “Peace be upon the souls of our martyrs in Jenin, and may God bring us together with them at the basin of your Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.”
