Thousands of Palestinians performed dawn prayers today, Friday, in the Al-Aqsa and Ibrahimi Mosques, in a message confirming the Islam of the two mosques and confronting the occupation’s Judaization plans against them.
Al-Aqsa Mosque’s chapels and courtyards witnessed a large presence of worshipers, who traveled to it from the city of Jerusalem and the Palestinian interior occupied in 1948 AD.
After performing the dawn prayer, hundreds of worshipers continued their seclusion in Al-Aqsa Mosque, amid religious supplications, lessons, and reading of the Qur’an, which continues until the Friday prayer is performed in the mosque, while others continue their bond until the end of Saturday.
In Hebron, hundreds of worshipers performed the dawn prayer today, Friday, in the Ibrahimi Mosque, as part of the great dawn crowds that came out to emphasize the protection of the mosque from the violations of the occupation and its settlers.
The worshipers performed the dawn prayer behind Sheikh Moataz Abu Sneineh, while after the prayer, the courtyards of the mosque witnessed various events during which hospitality and hot drinks were provided to the worshipers.
The crowds affirmed the Islamic nature of the Ibrahimi Mosque, reiterating their rejection of its repeated closure to worshipers, and the prohibition of calling the call to prayer dozens of times.
Hospitality, including dates and hot drinks, was provided to the worshipers with the participation of the families of Hebron, the hospice of our master “Ibrahim Al-Khalil,” and donations from the people, amid a festive atmosphere and sessions of remembrance, takbir, and prayers for the beloved Chosen One.
Jerusalemite activists have previously launched calls to intensify ties in the Bab al-Rahma prayer hall to thwart the occupation’s plans, and to permanently participate in the great dawn prayer in Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Activists confirmed that the occupation seeks to end the Jerusalemite presence in the Bab al-Rahma prayer hall, and to ignite a religious war by storming and Judaizing it.
The “Great Dawn” campaign comes to mobilize enthusiasm and broad participation in the dawn prayer, and it returned in a reality that witnessed field and political changes, in the context of the conflict with the Israeli occupation.
“The Great Dawn” launched for the first time from the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of Hebron in November 2020. To confront the dangers facing the mosque, the repeated incursions of the occupation forces and flocks of settlers, attempts to Judaize it, and perform Talmudic rituals there, and then moved to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
