On Sunday morning, freed prisoner Ataf Alyan began an open hunger strike to demand that the occupation be prevented from performing an autopsy on the body of the martyr Sheikh Khader Adnan, in implementation of his will.
Alian went to the Red Cross headquarters in Ramallah, and began an open sit-in and hunger strike, until the occupation authorities released the body of the martyr Adnan, without an autopsy.
The martyr Khader Adnan had requested, in his written will, which he wrote at the beginning of August, that his body not be autopsied if he died in the occupation prisons.
The freed prisoner Ataf Alyan spent 14 years in the prisons of the Zionist occupation, after she was arrested just before she began carrying out the first martyrdom operation in the history of the Palestinian revolution, in the year 1986, which was planned by the martyrs Muhammad Ibahis (Abu Al-Hassan Qasim) and Muhammad Al-Tamimi (Hamdi), the founders of ( Saraya Islamic Jihad), and was arrested in August 1987, to begin her life with families in the occupation prisons.
